i can't change the ownership

  hello

  i’d like to create a page for a user (author) and then change the ownership of the page to them so they can edit it? when i try to change the author in ‘edit page’ and save it says ‘fail to save draft’

  any ideas?

  Hi there,

  You may want to try changing authors in the WP Admin dashboard. This is what @fstat recommends:

  If you like to change the author of a published post you can open the post on the classic editor, scroll down to the Author field, select another author, and click on the “Update” button to save the changes. Here’s a screenshot to make things easier:

  To open the post on the classic editor, you need to access the WP Admin dashboard. To do so, add /wp-admin to the end of your site’s address (e.g. delidoligunler.com.com/wp-admin).

  thank you so much staff-frank! i did find an option to change in the classic interface the author but not there – it was in the quickedit menu…!
