I can't create a new WordPress Account

  Hi everyone,
  I’ve cleared my browser cache and cookies & still can’t create a new WP account…this is the link I’m using to create a new one: https://signup.wordpress.com/signup/?new=

  It just goes blank.

  Is anyone else having this issue?…How do we notify WP tech support?…

  To create a new username account you must log out of WordPress.com, clear your browser cache and cookies. Then without logging in under your existing username account you can register a new account with a different email address. http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050

  As that’s not working for you troubleshooting is in order.

  If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.

  Note: If you are using an IE9 browser in compatibility mode that makes it render as IE7 and IE7 is not supported. To disable see > http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html

  If you are running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com please

  Make sure that you have third-party cookies enabled: http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/

  Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.

  Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/

  If it’s still happening, let us know exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://www.whatbrowser.org/ and also post any error reports you get.

  Lastly, provided you have not been registering numerous accounts and blogs then your will not be perceived to be a spammer. Hopefully, that’s not a factor here.

  Thanks, but I think it’s the WordPress site itself. I just tried creating a new WP account on a different computer & it’s not working either. I see a post in the forums section that someone else seems to be having this same type of issue. How can we notify WP tech support about this?….

  I saw that thread however, my client can’t create her site either. I tried creating a new WP account on three computers now & it’s simply not working.

  Thanks for the reply. I wanted to be sure you had seen what Staff posted. Please be patient while waiting, knowing Staff deal with threads with threads with the earliest dates first and there are other bloggers, who posted prior to this thread being tagged for Staff.

  What doesn’t work exactly? Could you please explain in detail where things to wrong?

  To create a new WordPress.com account, make sure you’re logged out of your current account and create a new one at http://wordpress.com/signup
