Whenever I try to save my customization, my Google Chrome would just say a error”Uncaught ReferenceError: _tkq is not defined “. So basically I just can’t apply my customization.

    Hi Charles,

Could you please describe in detail what customization you are trying to make?

Also, could you please try the same action in Firefox, and let me know if you experience the same error?

Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks very much.

I just tried to change some colors of my theme. But even I saved it successfully, the changes just didn’t apply to my site. It doesn’t matter which browser I use coz I’ve tried three. So afterwards I pressed F12 and ESC on google chrome trying to see what was going on. Then I saw the error that I mentioned to you before.

    Thanks for your help.

    Best,
    Charles Lee

    Hey Charles,

You don’t have the Custom Design upgrade necessary to permanently change the colors of your theme. In the Customizer where you adjust your colors, you should see the message, “This feature is a part of the Premium Plan.” Like so:

If you’re interested in the upgrade, here’s some info:

    en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/

If you know you want a totally different color scheme, but don’t want to upgrade, you might want to look into a theme that is more aesthetically to your liking:

Let me know how else I can help! Thanks much.
