I can't delete a blog with no visible premium upgrades

  • Unknown's avatar

I’m trying to delete my blog, but it says I have premium upgrades. If I follow the prompt though, it prompts me to upgrade. I am not on a premium plan at the moment, don’t have a premium domain, and my ‘Billing history’ is completely empty.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

You probably have a premium theme. Staff will either remove it or transfer it to another site registered under the same account for you. Post your preference please and I will tag this thread for a Staff follow up.

We don’t need it any more, so it would be great for it to just be removed – thanks!

    Hi chamonixit,

There are no upgrades owned by the account you are logged in to. Can you confirm the URL of the site you want to delete? Once I know for sure I’ll be able to look into what is happening.

    Thanks!

    Definitely chamonixvue.wordpress.com

It’s the only one associated with this account, and it still says:

    ‘Premium Upgrades
You have active premium upgrades on your site. Please cancel your upgrades prior to deleting your site.’

    when trying to delete.

    Hi chamonixit,

Thanks — I’ve removed the premium theme from chamonixvue.wordpress.com so you can go ahead and delete the site now.

Come back to me if you run into any problems.
