I can't delete my blog

I’d like to delete this blog, because I’m not updating it any more at all. I’ve followed all the steps in the instructions, but I never receive the e-mail needed to confirm that I really want to delete it. I’ve checked my spam folder and everything. Please help me with this. Thanks!

In the dashboard for that site, go to settings > general and look at the admin email address listed there. Is that the email account you are checking?
Did you check the actual email spam folder at your email service provider?

Yes to all questions. I even changed the e-mail address for the blog to really make sure I was receiving the e-mails correctly.
On a different note, I also can’t change my username. I’ve tried in two different browsers. This is all very strange.the blog is http://bettinathenomad.wordpress.com.

The change username function is broken. Staff are aware of that and are working on it. . As that thread is an active thread you can post your information into it.

Well, I just tried again and for some strange reason it suddenly worked. So no need for you to delete the blog, I already did it. Ta!
