I can't disconnect a few sites from my account.

When I go to settings -> Disconnect Site I get an error that just says ‘Error disconnecting SITENAME’.
I have three sites that belong to clients I no longer work with that I would like to remove that give the same error.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Note that Jetpack is a plugin used by WordPress.ORG bloggers to achieve parity with what we already have built in to WordPress.COM blogs. Therefore, you may want to share you solution on the Jetapack support forum at WordPress.ORG.

Also note that for WordPress.ORG issues, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.

Sorry, but I think my issue is a WordPress.com issue still. Sorry If I’m misinterpreting something.
The sites were self hosted .org sites, but they are no longer around. They still appear in my WordPress.com account though. Technically I can just ignore them but I’m just trying to clean house.
I had some other similar sites but they gave me the option to disconnect as outlined in that guide you posted (http://en.support.wordpress.com/disconnect-jetpack-sites/). These remaining few sites just seem to be throwing an error in my WordPress.com account when I try to follow the same steps.
So as of right now there is no self hosted counterpart to the sites listed in my .com account to address. I believe those clients might be running new WordPress sites but they are not the ones originally connected to my .com account.
