  Hello,
  I am not not able to edit or publish a new post. I get this message:
  ‘Updating failed. Sorry you are not able to edit this post.’
  Please help. Thank you!

  Hi there,

  Is this on https://gocounseling.wordpress.com/?

  Copy your post and paste the content into Notepad as a backup, just in case.

  The log out of your account, clear the browser cache, and log back in.

  Do you still get this error after following those steps?
