I can't edit the date of my post?

I wrote a post after midnight but I want it to show the pre-midnight date. When I click “edit” next to date nothing happens. I also can’t add tags to this post. I had to delete the post I’d written b/c I don’t want it to be published if it shows the next day’s date.

There are now two places on your Dashboard to write posts, is this the one you’re using:
If not, it’s probably the easier of the two. Try logging out of your account, clear your cache, then maybe restart your computer and log back in… a lot of the times that’s all it takes.

…also, you didn’t have to delete the post. You can mark it as “Pending Review” or put it back into the Draft folder. I hope you copy / pasted the post before you deleted it…

You are not alone in the usability problems with the tag wigdet on the right-hand side of the editing screen.

Hi feartheseeds, I was using that spot on the dashboard. I just went back in and everything worked fine. I think there must have been some temporary problem with WordPress? I am far too impatient for anyone’s good.
Thank you for the help–if there’s a next time, will try clearing my cache to see if that improves things. And I just kept the post in Trash until this morning, when I restored it and added the bits I wanted. So I didn’t DELETE delete it.
