  I just make a Flash Intro [not video or sliceshow]. I want to embed into page but it can’t.
  Would you please show me how to embed this Flash file.

  We’re unable to use Flash or Java for security reasons.

  Can I add flash? video? Embed other media?

  You can upload that (for lack of a better term) presentation to one of the video sites in that FAQ and use it via that video site within your blog. May want to consider a ‘static front page’ to place the video and then have your blog posts on a secondary page. That’s the closeest way here to have a landing page like you’re trying to do. You can do it with regular wordpress on your own host but not really here with the shared software. You’d have to have file level access to do so.

  I would like to embed a flash movie (.swf) file into my the header of my theme. I host my wordpress site on an independent server.

  Anyone know how I can do that?

  You cannot do that at WordPress.com.

  Since you say you are self-hosted, you need to ask over at http://wordpress.org/support/ since the software here is different from that downloaded from wordpress.org.
