I cant enter a url

  I am trying to enter a url for my blog and it wont let me click on the box. Help?

  Help? I don’t even know what you are trying to do. “click on the box” isn’t very descriptive, that could be anything. Are you trying to add a link? And where? And please let us know the URL for your blog, starting with http:// so we can see the problem and better help you. Thanks.

  Sorry I wasn’t too specific. On the page “Register a blog” to start a blog the first thing is “blog domain”. You are supposed to enter a phrase that is added to .wordpress.com. It won’t even let me click on the enter box to enter my phrase. The .wordpress.com is also in a dull gray not black, which usually means unavailable.

  Sound like a browser issue. Have you tried changing browser?

  Its working now. It just does not have a pulsing cursor.

  IE6 ( or earlier) and Opera and the older versions of Safari (2.x.x and earlier) can a problem. If you are using one of those, you will need to upgrade to either IE7, or Firefox – Firefox is highly recommended because there are still issues with IE7. If using Safari 2.x.x, and you have OSX 10.4.11, upgrade to Safari 3 which works extremely well with WordPress. If you have OSX 10.3.x, you cannot use Safari 3, so get Firefox instead.

  Also, if you are going to blog here, make sure you have the latest version of the flash player. http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer . If you don’t, you will have issues.
