i can’t export my media library
-
i click on the ‘export media library’ button in WP.com dashboard and the .tar file starts downloading. it is always interrupted at some point with a ‘failed – network error’ message (although my wifi doesn’t interrupt on other devices) it is a 3 GB file.
when i migrated to WP.org, i thought that this media library would be synced or.combined with the new media library but some picture links are still broken.
when i was having problems with broken links, my web host ended up changing all files that had URL ‘dopeland.files.wordpress.com’ to ‘kingdomofjoga.com’. now all those links are broken whats wrose is now i don’t know which URLS used to be connected to the old media library (since some of my image links are now in my new media library. is there any way to fix this and integrate the 2 libraries? at this point, i can’t even get a proper export.
any help appreciated thanks!

Hi @jogabot, are you using these tips to migrate your site?
https://move.wordpress.comIf I were the one doing this migration, clear everything from the new site and import again. Give it some time for the media to sync up. The media will need to be on the new site as files, AND in the media library on your site, for it to work well. Those steps above should help. And then if needed, your host can find and replace for the correct media locations.
You can also download the media from the export page as well. It’s just a very big file, so please find the best internet connection you can get (wired if possible), then download it.
Also, just noting if you’re changing hosts to add more media space or get a custom domain, we do have plans that include those options. Let us know if you have questions on these:
