Supposedly, if you have downloaded your archives (only archives pulled AFTER it went into 2.0 – NOT BEFORE, as I found out) you should be able to upload them. I just did some digging, and this is a VERY common issue with Xanga content.
Here is the “official” way of doing it (using archvies downloaded as xml files) – http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/import-from-xanga/
    Here is a workaround that I found – http://codex.wordpress.org/Importing_Content

Despite this, what I have seen a lot of people do is screencap their posts and upload them as images, or simply copy and paste them into a wordpress post.
I took a stroll through the Xanga help pages, and the ONLY answer you will receive there is to either “sign up with a website that is compatable with your xanga archives. WordPress is one such website. Or you can sign up for Xanga 2.0″…. And thus the sales pitch begins.

Now then, IF you’re like me and you backed up your archives and downloaded them BEFORE the switch to Xanga 2.0 (Basically any time BEFORE July/August of 2013) then your best option is the copy and paste method, as the only version of the archives are NOT compatable with wordpress.

One method I have also seen used, though it’s up to you if you want to go to all the trouble, is to copy and paste posts and images to Tumblr, then import the Tumblr blog to WordPress.

Firstly, I hope the first option I found, the official way to do it and the workaround help and you don’t have to do the long complicated way of doing it. But if you do, hope this answer helps.
