I can't figure out how to add posts to pages.

  I am trying to create an online newspaper for my school with multiple sections. I can’t figure out how to publish stories to different pages and also include on the front page.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Use category pages to organize your posts into various categories.

  …and also include on the front page.

  With any WordPress.com theme, the front page displays all posts by default. Use a custom menu to provide convenient links to the category pages on the front page.

  It looks like you may have sorted this out already. Tagging a post with news, life, or sports as the category will put that post on the respective category page.
