I can't find Front Page under Settings — Readings
-
I am trying to create a link to my blog posts on my front or home page. I am following the instructions on the link below by going to Settings- — Reading, but my Front Page Displays option is not coming up.
The top of my page reads: Blog Pages Show at Most, Syndications Feeds Show the most Recent, For each article in a feed show… etc etc. I have posted a screen shot on my media section in the dashboard. Can you help?

Hi there,
Until you’ve set up at least one page, those settings aren’t visible. Go ahead and create a page and then go back to the Settings >> Reading page and they should appear for you!
Let me know if you still have any issues after you’ve created that first page.

Thanks for this amightywp. Thing is, I have two pages set up under Pages already. One is called Home, and one is called Blog. At the moment, it says Draft beside each one. I haven’t published them yet. Do you mean that only after I publish them, those settings become visible? I kind of wanted to have the website arranged nicely before I actually published, as I wanted to have a Home page and links to the blog. Any clarifications appreciated.

Yep, you do indeed have to have the pages actually published in order for the system to properly recognize them. One of the ways you can really tell is if you go to your Dashboard’s home page, you can see a break down of how many pages, posts, categories, tags, etc you have. Even though you’ve got a couple of pages set as drafts, the site doesn’t see you as having any thus far.
