I cant find my domain

    I deleted my old site and changed my name. It asked – do you want us to set up a blog site with this name. I choose the option that said yes – change nopenotarobot (old site) to the new name. But the new blog name is nowhere to be found. When I go to my site in the menu – it prompts me to set up a new blog page but then I cant use the name slightlynomad anymore because its no longer available (obviously because I chose to swop the old name with this name)
    Can you please help me find it

    Can you give me some more information about the URLs you’re trying to use? What was the URL of your old site? What’s the URL of your new site? What URL would you like to have?

    From the information you’ve given me I’m afraid you might have deleted your site, which may mean your old URL is now permanently unavailable. This site explains the details of what happens when you delete a site and some other options you can take that might preserve a URL for reuse next time. https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

    the old site was http://nopenotarobot.wordpress.com
    I deleted that. It was all gone and all was good. Then I went to my profile to change my login name for the new site and it asked if I wanted to update the nopenotarobot url with this new name http://slightlynomad.wordpress.com. I said yes. I figured it would set up the new url but it didnt. and when I check this new URL – it says its also deleted. Is there anyway to get it back?

    Hi there,

    You’re right. It does say that slightlynomad.wordpress.com has been deleted. Unfortunately any site that has been deleted has it’s URL permanently removed. You will have to choose another address for your site.

    Hi slightlynomad, it’s a great name – I can see why you want to keep it!

    Have you considered upgrading to a paid WP plan to get the name without the .wordpress branding? I see slightlynomad.com is available on namecheap and slightlynomad.blog is available from WordPress.

    Just another option for you here :)
