I want to add an events calendar to the theme, Dusk to Dawn. I cannot find a plug in feature anywhere in the menu for the theme; not in settings, tools, appearance – no where. I posted in the forums but I can’t find my post and it insists that my WordPress password is not valid. Well, I’m logged in now – from my blog.

There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and we cannot install individual plugins into them for security reasons. Those found on the internet are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.

Actually, this was extremely helpful. The calendar plugin I was using is hosted on a different server – not WordPress – I didn’t realize the difference between .com and .org. So, now I need to look for another solution to the event calendar quest. Thanks.

Aside from Google calendars the only event calendar solution we have for WordPress.com blogs is the Eventbrite one I linked to above.
