I can't find my website

    I can’t find my website. I was trying to change the domain to another website and I don’t know what happened but I can’t find my website on my account!! I don’t if it as been torn out of WordPress but is there a way to get my website back?! Actually, it is online at this moment but I can’t modify it or acess it with WordPress…

    Hi,

    Our site is aesca.ca, I can still see it online, and we still own the domain, it’s with godaddy. But when I write aesca.ca/admin, it saying that I don’t have the rights with my account to do modification.. But it’s our site, until one week or so, we were able to modify it! Is there anyway you can put our account (aescauqtr) administrator on our site?

    The site at aesca.ca has nothing to do with WordPress.com.

    That domain is registered with GoDaddy, but it’s connected to a site hosted on Hostgator’s servers, which means it’s using the self-hosted WordPress.org software. Self-hosted sites work differently from WordPress.com sites, and that site has no connection to our system or to your account with us.

    Your WordPress.com username account won’t give you access to that site’s dashboard. Instead, you’ll need to log in with the admin credentials that were set up when you created that site with Hostgator. You should have received those via email at the time you created the site.

    If you don’t know what they are, Hostgator support might be able to help you, or else you can see the instructions for resetting the password on a self-hosted WordPress site here:
