I cant find the theme that I need…

  Hi there, I recently purchased the $99 premium bundle from wordpress.com and hosted the site through you guys. We are a small painting business, and I cannot find a site theme that looks as good as some of the third party themes. I recently discovered that I have to have the .org version of the site to upload third party themes. I started off using a free theme (yoko) but found that it wont let me do certain things that I want. I need a theme that allows for lots of Header customization i.e. Logo, catch phrase, phone number, email address, and to be able to place those where I want them. The only theme I’ve found that comes close to that criteria is the Business Identity theme for $175, but even that doesn’t have some of the header options that I want. So, are there any themes in the .com version of wordpress that are more geared to Contractors? Secondly, if I were to switch over to the .org version, would I be able to keep the same exact domain name? http://www.mayfieldpainting.com? or would I have to start all over and come up with a new domain name? Would I be refunded?

  I think we have a few themes that will be able to achieve what you’re looking for. One thing to keep in mind is that the demo might not look exactly like what you’re envisioning. We can do some customizations to get the look you want though! Of the following, I think Nowell might work best. It offers a logo, header, and some cool customized areas that you can use for contact information.

  Can you take a look at the theme demos and let me know if you like the general look and feel of any (remember, content, colors, and fonts can all change).

  Yep! You can definitely use your domain name with a self-hosted site if you want. No need to start over. We would just refund you a total of $73, which is $99 minus the cost of your domain ($26).
