i can`t find write tab

    i am a newbee in wp. for the first time i want to post my first writing. i already create a new account, login and go to general dashboard. but in there i can*t find write tab. where can i find write tab?

    Do you mean you can’t find the tab, or it’s not there at all? It should be in Dashboard > Write and clicking that should take you straight to the editor.

    If it’s not there, you might want to clear your browser cache and check what browser you’re using. There are known problems with Safari and Opera; Firefox is the one WP recommends.

    I’m having very few problems with Opera 9.02. The biggest issue is that Visual mode goes crazy after a few minutes, so I’m restricted to Code (but that’s not too big of a problem for me). This happens on all sites that use TinyMCE.

    srinugroho: In addition to what cjwriter has said, you should also be able to access the Write Post tab by clicking on New Post in the blue bar that appears at the top of this forum (and all WP.com blogs) when you are logged in.
