I can't get google authorship to work despite connecting to my google plus

    I am at a loss because I’ve followed all the steps and connected my google plus profile to my site, I have a headshot that is clear and should work, but whenever I test with google’s structured testing tool, I get this message: Page does not contain authorship markup.

    Can someone please tell me what else I need to do? I’ve been trying this since October so it’s not a matter of a few days passing- it’s been months.
