I can’t get into my old account and the reset password email has never come

So my old blog that I created 6 years ago suddenly got logged out from my computer and all my passwords didn’t work. I finally choose the send login link and reset password button but the emails have never come, I use yahoo mail btw. Help me please, this blog is very important for me. Thank you in advanced for your help.

Hi there,
Our logs for the email address connected to that site show the password reset emails are bouncing, so most likely you no longer have access to the correct email address, or else your email provider is blocking them.
In that case, the only way to regain access is to provide some other verification of your ownership via our account recovery form, here:

thank you for your response. I’m sorry i don’t remember if i put my phone number there and I tried the recovery form also but i don’t have all those transaction ID and stuffs. Is it possible to send the reset password to my email at (email visible only to moderators and staff) please?

That is not possible, no. The password reset email can only be sent to the email address currently attached to the account, and we can only update that email address for you if you’ve first verified your ownership of the account.
If you’re unable to verify your ownership, we won’t be able to give you access to the account.

That’s the email adress that’s currently attached to the account, and I forgot if I’ve ever put my phone number there or not. And I don’t have any proofs of the ownership…

I lost that email some times ago, I don’t know when, maybe because I had never logged on to that account. I thought I could log in to WordPress by username only, but I don’t know why I got logged out from wordpress in my computer and all the passwords didn’t work, I chose to reset the password and send the password to my email address, which is that one I wrote above. That email address was gone, so i created one with the same username.
I completely understand if you don’t want to give me the access… but could you please check if i’ve ever put my phone number there so I could reset the password through phone? Since I didn’t see that choice on my device.

Unfortunately, there’s no phone number stored on your account. Are you sure you cannot still recover that Yahoo email address? Have you contacted Yahoo?

Hi, thank you for your response. I have contacted yahoo mail yesterday, the response was sites to ask for self help. Now I have the same exact email address as my primary email for wordpress, even my yahoo mail picture automatically changed into my wordpress picture. But the reset password email from WordPress did not come. Please can you help me? This is for work, I don’t know what else to do, this blog is very important for me…

I have attempted to resend the password reset email to the account on file. However, the email message bounced. Please verify with the email provider that the address on the account is valid.

Thank you so much for your help. I contacted yahoo mail and they said my address has no problem on sending and receiving email. So the problem maybe your address is blocked internally. To solve the problem they asked WordPress to contact them at https://help.yahoo.com/kb/postmaster .

Hi there,
If our address was blocked internally by Yahoo, we would have thousands of WordPress.com users not receiving emails from us. It is only emails to the address on file for the gennybrightsmiles username, and they are bouncing with the error that the address is no longer valid.
I have sent you an email from a different address to the one on file for that account. If that comes through we can help you there, but if you don’t receive that one either there is nothing else we can do.
