I can’t get into my site to continue building it

    I was building my site and had put a lot of content using Astra-Elementor and my laptop suddenly restarted. Chrome was closed and I had to log in again. (I wasn’t able to restore closed tabs). First, I had trouble logging, being told that the password is wrong yet it was correct, and eventually I was able to log in again, but this time, I was taken to a new dashboard which doesn’t show the site details for I what was working on. Instead, I’m now being asked to build the site or map my site and being asked to pay the WP annual hosting fee yet I paid for a site via Bluehost+WP. I’m really confused as to what’s going on.

    Hi there!

    What’s the address of the site you’re trying to access? If you purchased hosting with Bluehost, it means you’re not hosting your site with us, WordPress.com.

    To access it, you’ll have to go to yourdomain.com/wp-admin.

    If it was connected to a WordPress.com account, it’s probably one using a different email address. Right now you’re logged in as someonecallsmemama3bf6ec3a3d, and there are no Bluehost sites connected to this account. Could it be that your site is connected to a different one?

    Hi, thanks for the reply. I hadn’t realized that I needed to also pay for WordPress hosting. I thought paying for Bluehost+WP automatically means that I will have a worpdress site because I have been building the site via WordPress. When I decided to login via Bluehost+WP I was able to get back to my site admin editorial dashboard. My question now is if and when I’m ready to publish the site, will I need to first pay for WordPress hosting? And will my site be automatically adopted with its content or will I have to start afresh?

    If the site is hosted with Bluehost, you would not need to pay anything at WordPress.com and vice versa.

    What is the URL of the site you’re working with?

    That site is not hosted with us, but it is hosted with Bluehost. You already bought hosting through them, and don’t really need another host.

    I haven’t used this site in several months since the neighborhood association closed during covid-19 shutdown. Now I have lost access. Looking for a way back to the site.
