i cant get into my website help please asap

    hello everyone I accidentally changed url http to https and now i cant get into my website nor wordpress admin i dont have any other tools to go in there and fix it if anyone can helo i would really appreciate it

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there!

    “http” and “https” should work. If you enter “http” it should redirect to “https” automatically.

    Have you tried accessing your site in a different browser?
    This can be another issue why it’s not working.

    If it doesn’t work — please reply and I’ll see what I can do.

    Hello there @canjohn1905 – atowelswholesale.wordpress.com is empty of any user created content. Is that the site you need help with or is it a different site?

    If by chance you are talking about a site using the standalone WP software, you’ll want to head over to the documentation and support forums at https://wordpress.org/support If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register one on that page. I also suggest searching the forums there for a similar issue before posting.

    Standalone WP and WordPressdotcom (where we are) are different entities; more information about the differences can be found here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    If you are talking about a site hosted here on WordPressdotcom, please give us the relevant URL. Thanks.

    @canjohn1905 One other thing, if your site is using the standalone WP software and is hosted with a 3rd party web hosting provider, like Bluehost, GoDaddy or HostGator, you should also be able to ask them for assistance in getting back into your site.

    @alissonhz Thanks for your help here. You are correct that if someone types http into the browser address line for a WordPressdotcom site, it will redirect to https. But, users on WordPressdotcom aren’t able to change the http/https setting for their site, which might hint that this is an issue with a standalone WP site. Thanks again for your assistance.
