I can't get my blog verified on my pinterest account

I can’t verify my blog on my pinterest account. Does it have anything to do with the fact that I have my blog forwarded to a domain I purchased from go daddy? I have tried verifying it with both http://oilytreasures.com/ and with http://oilytreasures.wordpress.com. I am using the meta tag and copying that into the tools section on wordpress. Then I click save changes, go back to pinterest to finish verifying and it says: “Whoops! Trouble verifying your domain. Please try again later.”

Yes forwarding would be the issue. We don’t provide support for forwarding. If you want this to operate correctly then you will purchase an annually domain mapping upgrade.
In order to map to a domain one must have an underlying .wordpress.com subdomain blog to map from http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/ and the domain name you desire must be available for purchase, or you must already own it.
After you have registered a .wordpress.com blog you log in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchase a domain name by purchasing an annually renewable domain mapping upgrade for the blog from the blog’s dashboard at > Store > My Upgrades.

Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades is where you do the primary blog set up knowing it can take between 24 – 72 hours for domain name propagation to take place throughout the internet. You can view the DNS changes here > http://www.whatsmydns.net/ What’s important during that stage is to be patient.

you need to upload that short file from pintrest and upload in your site c panel inside the public.html
