It takes 4 to 8 weeks for a new site to be fully indexed by search engines – and that is only if you have content worth indexing. You need to add something worth reading and lots of it to your blog

As the others said it can take weeks for search engines to index content in a new blog and/or to re-index content under a new URL. What attracts search engines is unique content in posts (not pages) that cannot be found anywhere else on the internet.
