  If you go to My Site > People > Followers (https://wordpress.com/people/followers/) there are no followers but yourself.

  How do you know that people are indeed following your blog?

  One of my friend followed my blog in front of me… it says request pending but i cant get notified… is it that the person must have wordpress login id to follow us?
