  I’m not sure how I logged in on my last computer, but I don’t see how to get to the blog writing page

  It seems that you are looking where the blog posts pages are because you would want to create a blog post. To get there and create/publish posts, you would have to go to the site that you would want to add that blog post. Then go to Site > Post > Add New Post (Maroon button towards that right).
