Hi there –
Thanks for writing to us. Looking at the domain I can see that it still needs to point to WordPress.com. This is a setting on the back end of your domain. You’ll work with GoDaddy to either point the domain here, or transfer it to us. There’s no wrong or right option. The benefit of transferring the domain is that your domain renewal and your hosting is all going to be handled here, in one space.
Please read over this page and then let me know what questions you have about that process. The second part is adding your hosting plan to the account. Could you share more details with me about your goals for this project? What sort of functionality do you need? Stuff like the ability to book appointments, sell digital or physical products, host video content… The more we know about your project, the better we can advise on the best hosting plan and share what resources you’ll need to build it.
The hosting plans can be paid for by the month or annually. The annual option has a great savings. It can be upgraded or downgraded at any point. I’d start with the personal plan so you can get the domain connection finished up and then once we know more about your project and if you need to upgrade the plan, what you’ve paid us will get applied to that new plan.
