  Just copy and then paste this into your text editor (you have to change from “visual editor”) to make it work:

  hi, I have read all thecomments people make, and I don’t even understand what a “text editor” is, and where it is.

  There are two editors on the page where you write posts. One is the visual editor, the other is the text editor.
  In the visual editor you just type and format much the same as you would on a regular word processor program (some significant differences but don’t worry about it for now: just write and publish). here is what that editor looks like:

  In the text editor you will see the code which makes things work on your blog. html.

  You can switch from the visual editor to the text editor like this:
