I can't import my Blogger blog to WordPress

  I can’t import my Blogger blog to my new WordPress site. I see I need to install a plugin, but nothing pops up when I choose import. Can you help me figure out how to do this? I’ve also tried uploading an xml file, but that doesn’t work either. All it says is that my upload was successful and importing will begin soon.

  Hi Deborah,

  There’s no need to install any plugins to import your Blogger blog. You can upload the Blogger export file directly to the Blogger importer under Tools > Import > Blogger in your site’s dashboard.

  I checked the file you imported earlier, and it looks like it was corrupted. (That can happen, for example, if the file was opened and resaved in Word — that can cause some formatting issues in the original XML export file.)

  Can you please try saving a new export file from Blogger? (Blogger has instructions for exporting your blog if you need.) Then, please try the import again and let me know how it goes. :)
