I can’t import my Tumblr blog

Hey! So, I’ve seen someone else have the same problem, but when I try to import my Tumblr blog, it doesn’t seem to show any progress in doing so, and when I try to select the import button, it tells me there’s already an import in progress. Is there anyway I could get some information on why this is, and if I could change it/it could be changed? Thank you!

Due to the changes at tumblr there is currently very heavy traffic at the WordPress.com importer. If your import still hasn’t worked after it has been running for 24 hours then add the word modlook to the tag box on the right in case your import is stuck and needs resetting by staff. Please be patient as they work through the backlog to reach you. -

I’ve double checked to confirm your import is indeed still queued. It didn’t cancel. But please do reconnect to your Tumblr account if you’ve disconnected it – it won’t be able to start otherwise.
Our queue has a lot of requests waiting right now, and right now a wait time over 24 hours is normal. I recommend checking back on it later this evening or tomorrow.
As a note, if you’re moving due to Tumblr’s recent announcement that they will no longer allow adult content on their service, please note that we also have restrictions on the type of mature content allowed on WordPress.com, and pornographic content is not allowed on our service at all.
Sites that violate these policies may be suspended.
