I can't impot a file from another blog, WORDPRESs states the file is too large, what do I do?

  Import a file from another blog (Blogspot).

  Hi there,

  If your import file is too big you have two options.

  1) Go back to the original site and create a new export. This time only export the posts for a few months at a time so you have several smaller files instead of one big one.

  (Optionally, also go through your comments before exporting and delete any spammy or insubstantial comments.)

  2) Search online for an XML splitter app that you can use to break up your import file into smaller pieces. Then import the smaller files instead.
