i cant install plugins to my wordpress site.it says

  i cant install plugins to my wordpress site.it says instalation failed.could not create directory.
  i try typing define(‘FS_METHOD’, ‘direct’);
  define(‘FTP_PUBKEY’,’/home/wp-user/.ssh/wp_rsa.pub’);
  define(‘FTP_PRIKEY’,’/home/wp-user/.ssh/wp_rsa’);
  define(‘FTP_USER’,’wp-user’);
  define(‘FTP_PASS’,’wp-pass’);
  define(‘FTP_HOST’,’127.0.0.1:22′); to wordpress. config file.it is not working.
  my wordpress folder located in ubuntu vm ware (computer/var/www/html/wordpress(i renamed it as wp))

  my wordpress address(url) is http://localhost/wp
  site address (url) is http://localhost/wp

  i wont to run wordpress as local host.that is the problem because i have no appropiate blog url like lakshanrasanjaya.wordpress.com.
  if i try to create lakshanrasanjaya.wordpress.com. that site have default plugins.but cant add onother nessesary plugins i want.sometime it is i have to pay for that plugin.
  can i have plugins my site as wordpress address(url) is http://localhost/wp
  site address (url) is http://localhost/wp.
  please help me.u can send answer to my email((email visible only to moderators and staff)).my facebook name is lakshan rasanjaya.im from sri lanka.
