I can’t launch or publish free website

    Hello, i’m having trouble publishing my website or launching my Website. My website was built using the AI builder platform, every time i try to launch the site shows me a pop menu to try paid plans. If i go to the dashboard some features are limited and i can’t change for example the privacy to public, so i’m locked on launch. If i try to launch through the editor shows to select a domain which i want the free one, if ignore, redirects me to a page were i only can select two plans the premium and the business, that’s very weird because, does not show any other kind of options, not even the free plan, personal or commerce. I think that I’m stuck on a loop, and it’s very frustrating, because this website is for an institution that has no money to spend on this for now, and that’s why i created a free website, but now i can’t launch the free website. Can somebody help me.

    WordPress.com probably don’t make it clear enough that the only way to have a free site is to accept the layout of a free theme pretty much as standard. Once you start tweaking things with the AI builder then a paid plan is required to launch with the changed format. The only way to stay with a free plan is to revert the site to the default theme layout. Then you can publish your site for free.

    Hi there, just mentioning that if you’ve used the AI Builder to create the website, you won’t be able to launch it without upgrading to at least the Premium plan. That’s how the AI Builder works.

    AFAIK, you’ll need to start over with a free site without the AI Builder.

    You can definitely launch free websites on WordPress.com. However, as justjennifer mentioned, if you built your site using our AI website builder, it needs a Premium Plan or higher before it can be launched. You can read more about how that works here:
