Last thing I can suggest is to log out of wordpress, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then try again and see what happens.
Hopefully they will get it sorted out if it is something on their end.

I believe Time moderates their comments, so it’s up to them whether or not they post it.

@thesacredpath At http://blog.fakingnews.com I faced the same problem discussed here. You say we need to register with the blog itself. But I have seen user (who commented on the blog) with their WordPress account. A click on the user and you are at his blog. How is that possible. I cannot use my wordpress account to login to that blog, while others can do.

And one more thing…the blog I mentioned has a tagline at the bottom right “powered by wordpress”

Self-hosted wordpress blogs such as blog.fakingnews.com are not in any way connected to wordpress.COM. They are stand-alone. If blog.fakingnews.com requires registration to comment, then you have to register with them. You can use your same username as here (as long as it is not taken on their system) when you sign up there, but there is NO connection. When you register at a self-hosted blog, you can enter your website address, so you simply enter your web address from here. I could just as well sign up and enter whitehouse.gov or sarahpalin.com or google.com, or whatever I wished.
When I comment on blogs, sometimes I leave a website address and sometimes I do not. It all depends on whether I want people at that particular website visiting mine.

I have a work wordpress based website (http://www.robertpalmercoaching.com) and a wordpress blog (robertpalmercoaching.wordpress.com). My website does not seem to be connected to wordpress and I can’t manage it. How do I get connected so that I can edit my website?
