I can’t load images into my Media Library

  I did my 4.9.6 update today and now I can’t upload anything new into my media library. I’ve verified it’s not too big or anything… it just stalls upon upload and pops up this error: HTTP error

  You sound to have a self-hosted WordPress website and the problem may be because of the wrong file permissions.

  WordPress.com and WordPress.org and two different platforms. To know more, please read this.

  Please either contact your web hosting customer support.

  Please try clearing your browser cache and cookies. That usually fixes this problem.

  Failing that, you can ask the WordPress.org community who provides support for the software you’re using on your site:
