    Hello!

Are you able to login to your WordPress account OR are you able to login to your WordPress account BUT cannot see your site’s dashboard?

If you are unable to login to your WordPress account after changing your email address WordPress recommends the following troubleshooting options:
    1. Did you receive a confirmation email which should have arrived at your new email address? If not, check your SPAM, Social or Promotion tabs.
    2. The email change may not have saved correctly. WordPress emails must be unique and will not save correctly if they are not. Can you recall if your email address was saved correctly?
    3. If you allow your browser to keep your saved email (as a screen name to enter the site) to help enter your site quicker, it could be your browser is still using your old email address. Try clearing your browsers cookies and cache.
    4. Finally, try logging into the site using your old information.

If you are logged in and cannot see your blog’s dashboard try
    1. Logging in under secure login https://www.warpfactorrecycling.wordpress.com

I can login using an old email address. I have cleared cache and cookies

I have removed all the wordpress .com and .org passwords from my browser’s saved passwords.

WordPress appears to have created a THIRD account for me, with NO SITES created.
I did confirm the change of email by clicking the email link from wordpress – but when I opened the link, it was to a new account with no sites listed
I do not want a third account, I merely need to change the old, unused email address for the .com account, to a new email address (which is now linked to the third account – so I now can’t use it for the real other one!)

the old email for WP.com was (email visible only to moderators and staff) – no longer available as an email

the new address that I wish to use now associated with the third, blank account is jo@pandoraslunchbox

the one I am using to access my .com WP sites is (email visible only to moderators and staff) (soon to be no longer available)
and the WP.org email address is (email visible only to moderators and staff)

If at all possible, I wish to associate both wordpress accounts using one email address and preferably one password (I have two seperate sites on .org because I have two languages to work with)

    Ok couple things.
    1. WordPress requires that each account has to have on unique email address. If you wish to combine them you could use an email forwarding workaround. Email forwarding does require a custom domain for WordPress.COM accounts
    See: http://en.support.wordpress.com/email-forwarding/
    http://store.wordpress.com/premium-upgrades/custom-domains/
    2. If I am correct in understanding that you wish to combine WordPress.COM email address with a WordPress.ORG account , I do not think that is possible. But others may chime in with alternative answers.
    3. Once a WordPress.COM account is created you cannot delete a WordPress.COM account.
    4. I will tag this thread for a staff follow-up to see if they may be able to sort out the email addresses on the WordPress.COM accounts.

    Hi there,

the new address that I wish to use now associated with the third, blank account is jo@pandoraslunchbox

If you just want to change the email address on the account with the current email address:(email visible only to moderators and staff) to jo@pandoraslunchbox, please do the following:

    1) Log into the account with the email: jo@pandoraslunchbox. Change the email address, to another email.

You can change your account email address from here:
    https://wordpress.com/settings/account/

Please note that the change won’t take effect immediately as you will receive a validation email at the new email address. Make sure to click the link in the validation email to confirm the email address change.

If you run into any issue, you can check out this guide below:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/email-address/#issues-changing-your-email-address

    2) Then, log into (email visible only to moderators and staff) and change the email address to jo@pandoraslunchbox just like you did above. Then you should be set.

    Cheers!
