I can’t log in because I have no idea what I used for account credentials and I want to cancel my accoutn

Can anyone help me talk to an actual HUMAN who works for WordPress who might be able to help me???

Good Morning –
Sure thing. I’ll be glad to help. Please let me know more details about what’s going on and the site involved. Thanks :)

And that would be part of the problem…. Obviously, I can get all the billing information, but I honestly haven’t logged in to that account (the one I’m using is different) in over 2 years, likely more than 3. If there were a person I could actually **speak** with, I think this could be resolved. Unfortunately, there don’t seem to be any of those associated with WordPress…

You’ll need to reveal the full address of the site in question right here. There is no telephone support at WordPress.com and Livechat support is only available if you have a current paid plan. If you do have the billing information (and the site was definitely hosted here at WordPress.com) then the account/site can be recovered.
Have you looked at https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/ -
Thanks themagicrobot :)
@txskye, I’d recommend actually finding the transaction ID then using it to fill out the secure account recovery form mentioned above. If you’re having trouble with that, let us know and we’ll reach out to get the ID privately from you over email.Don’t post the ID in our community forums, though: staff and volunteers here are all indeed human (even though @themagicrobot’s name suggests otherwise), but we can’t control who else could see the ID.

Tried that form, it told me to use my email address to reset my password. Except the email address I’m logging in with now IS NOT the one I used to set up the paid site – so essentially useless. And, forgive me, there may be humans in the mix somewhere, but without actual real-time contact, there is no definitive indication that that is so…

Hi there,
Is it possible for you to provide either the email address that is potentially connected to the paid site or the actual URL of the paid site? Once we have that information, I’m sure that will get the ball rollin’ in assisting you in regaining access to your account.
And no worries about sharing the email address – only us staff will be able to see the address.
The questions that we’re asking are the same ones you’d get if you were talking to staff via chat, so we’d be happy to get this rectified for you in this thread.
Thanks!

I know you are unsure about what the email may be, but if you can provide a few possible emails that were used, let me know and I’d be happy to take a look.
But, the URL would definitely help. Thanks!

I’ve contacted my credit card company. They’ve put a block on any future recurring payments to WordPress. I imagine the account will be shut down for non-payment eventually. I guess I should have started with them…
-
If you tell us the URL of the site, we might be able to provide more help. But there is nothing we’re able to do if you don’t give us any information about the site or account in question.

I could have provided the transaction information for the last charge, but the form provided for that purpose would not allow me to submit it. I’ve blocked future charges to my credit card and will verify that no charge goes through on the next billing cycle.
