I can't log into dashboard

I am logged into my WordPress account but I can’t log into my dashboard (the WP Admin button under ‘view site’. it is not recognizing the username/password combination. I am disheartened when I read what seems to be very complicated potential solutions, changing php files and stuff like that. I used to work and now it is not; can anyone working for wordpress provide a fix that work?

That site is not hosted here at WordPress.COM and you are posting to the wrong support forum.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.

that’s weird, i see the wordpress account at https://wordpress.com/settings/writing/thinkfreeordie.com.. but ok I’ll look into it. I am also contacting my hosting provider, they’re a WP partner, so hopefully they can help. Forums are great but WP should be in a position to provide direct support, especially that it worked fine last night and not this morning. Whatever it is they need to fix. So frustrating.
