I can’t log into my wordpress blog after not logging in for several years.
-
I haven’t logged into my old wordpress hosted webpage in about 4-5 years. I tried to log in with the email I used before, but it had me create an account for that email, and it doesn’t have access to the page.
When I log into WEBSITE.wordpress.com/wp-admin with the new account I get you ‘do not have the necessary privileges to access the dashboard’ – but I don’t know which email could give me that.
What are steps I can do to access it?

Hi, it should be the email address that gets comment notifications and what not, so you can try commenting on the site and checking all of your email addresses if needed.
Does that help? If not, we do have an account recovery form here:

I just realized what happened. I started the rortybomb.wordpress.com blog in 2007 on an old college email that has since become defunct.
On Mon, Oct 24, 2011, I had “requested to have the administration email address on your site changed” (language in an email I got) and changed it to my current email. From there I got comments and pingback emails sent to me going forward into a folder.
I haven’t logged in for many years, likely 3-5 years, though I kept getting emails. This summer I tried to log in and it told me to create a new WordPress-style account for the wordpress site using my email. When I did, it didn’t have my rortybomb blog there. I stopped getting comments and pingback emails that day too at my email address, even for new comments (I did a comment to check).
I’m not sure if something didn’t switch over, or if creating a new wordpress account for the email erased over the old one.
I don’t have any of the three things info wise to use the account recovery form.
