I can’t login to get help with my actual problem.

    I am somehow able to log in via WordPress.com, but when I try to get help with my primary problem, it asks me to log in (for some reason) and I can’t log in using the page I’m given. When I say I’m somehow able to log in via WordPress.com, what I mean is that I click a button that says ‘Login with WordPress.com’. I’m not actually required to enter my username/email address and password, which I was careful to write down, but which don’t work when I’m asked to give them. Can someone help me log in so I can deal with the real problem? And don’t point me to that Login ‘Help’ page; the one that has a long list of steps I have to try to figure out what the problem is, most of which are way beyond my technical expertise.
