I can't purchase the premium plan for my blog

Hi WordPress.com. I recently tried the trial of premium plan. It expired (which is expectable as im planning to purchase it afterwards) but now i can’t make the payment. My trial ended on March 18th, my blog address is lokalah.blogspot.com or lokalah.com (im not sure which one is the current one as the trial ended).

I can see that WordPress.com Premium is in your checkout. You can make payment for it by either heading to the Plans page in WordPress.com and clicking on Upgrade Now beneath Premium, or going directly to this link:
https://wordpress.com/checkout/lokalah.wordpress.com
Let me know if you’re seeing any errors when attempting to complete payment from that page and I’ll be happy to help troubleshoot.
As an extra note, I noticed that you added domain mapping to lokalah.com. Is that a domain that you own outside of WordPress.com? If so, you can complete the mapping for it by following our guide here:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/If you don’t own that domain then I’m afraid you won’t be able to use it with WordPress.com. WordPress.com Premium does come with a free domain credit though, so you can still register a domain as part of that plan.

I have registered lokalah.com before, but when I try to map it to my blog, it says “sorry but lokalah.com is already mapped to a WordPress.com blog”
So what does it mean? Can I still use that domain?

Hi there.
You can definitely use lokalah.com with your WordPress.com site. :) There are two main parts to mapping a third-party domain to us: 1.) Add a mapping subscription on our end and 2.) Update your domain’s name servers through your third-party registry.
You’ve already completed the first of these two main steps and have a WordPress.com mapping subscription in place for lokalah.com.
Next, you’ll need to update your domain’s name servers to the following:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COMThis needs to be done through your domain’s registry.
Please note, if you have pre-existing email services associated with your domain then you should enter the custom DNS records for it on our end before changing your name servers. You can check our complete guide on mapping your domain for further details:

Hi,
So I’ve purchased the premium plan already and set lokalah.com as primary domain, but whenever I want to view the page, it directs me to hugedomains.com, when I open the domain management, in the email, it says :
“This domain currently has custom mail servers defined in its DNS settings. This means that WordPress.com Email Forwarding is not available for this domain, and that you should manage your email with your email provider”
I apologize as I am very new to this, but I don’t get it how to set NS1.WORDPRESS.COM NS2.WORDPRESS.COM NS3.WORDPRESS.COM, please help clarify this?

Hi there.
I’m seeing the name servers for your domain haven’t been updated yet. This needs to be done through the company where you registered that domain. If you’re unsure of how to update your name servers through them then you can contact their support team directly for directions.

My question is, is lokalah.com is not available for my wordpress? Because I certainly don’t want to pay USD 1K just for lokalah.com domain.
So, what is my next step? Say if I want to register new domain, I have to register new domain right? Can you please guide me on what are the next steps after registering domain?

And why do I have to pay for new domain? I want to register lokalahbygeometry.com because I cant use lokalah.com, but why am I being asked to pay another USD18? I thought my premium plan comes with free domain (lokalah.com shouldn’t be considered as the free domain because I cant use it for my blog)

I need a confirmation because I need to be sure when i purchase another domain, I can use it for my blog so I wont waste money purchasing domains but i cant use it for my blog.
So when I check at “register new domain”, lokalahbygeometry.com is available. After I made my payment and choose lokalahbygeometry.com as primary url, i should be able to use it straight away (and not deal with 3rd party domain provider to enable the domain) right?

As lokalah.com is currently unavailable for registration and the cost associated with it seems very high, I’ve gone ahead to remove the mapping to if from your WordPress.com account and have restored the domain credit to your Premium upgrade. You can now register a new domain through us for free. :)
