I can't put a link to my blog at Facebook?

Everytime I try to link my blog on Facebook I get the message “something gone wrong”. That is only when I link to my blog adress. If I link to http://www.wordpress.com theres no problem. Why is that?

I did a test and tried to create a Facebook status update where there’s a link to your site. I didn’t hit “Post”, but Facebook immediately recognized the link and even offered me a choice of thumbnails. Are you still experiencing this problem?

Yes, it’s the same for me before I hit “Post”. But as soon I hit post it gives me an error.

I was able to post a status update to my Facebook profile containing http://artofmec.wordpress.com/ just fine. Try clearing your cache and restarting your browser in case something is wonky on Facebook’s end for you.

That is really strange. I’ve tried Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome. Still gives me that error everytime I try to post the link. I just ran CCleaner to clear my cache, and to be safe i also did it manually after CCleaner was done. Still that error.

The error message is in Swedish, but translated it says;
“Something has gone wrong. We are working on to get it fixed as soon we can.” -
Whoops, I realized I typed the address in wrong when I tested earlier. When I use the correct site address I also get the error. @airodyssey, he’s getting an “Oops something went wrong” error on Facebook’s side. Facebook does block links to certain sites/content (like The Pirate Bay).

Then contact Facebook directly (especially if there is a link on the message in question) and ask them to unblock the link in question.
I really doubt WordPress.com has anything to do with this, but you are free to contact them about this when the contact form reopens on Monday.

Just asked this on another thread but thought I would try again here:
Is it possible to create a Facebook “like” button on the sidebar of my wordpress blog that links to the Facebook community page for the blog? E.g., instead of just sharing the particular article or the blog as a facebook link, it would direct people to “like” my blog’s existing community page on facebook.
