I can't put a sidebar/menu up. I have added widgets but not working

  I am trying to put a sidebar with widgets up and it just isn’t happening. I have used wordpress before and never had this problem. I want to be able to have a menu up.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The theme does not include sidebars:

  Widgets
  You can configure up to three footer widget areas by going to Appearance -> Widgets.

  The theme does support custom menus:

  Custom Menu
  This theme includes one drop-down navigation menu in the header. By default it will display your Pages, but you can also assign a custom menu to the Primary Menu area under Appearance -> Menus.
