I can't see all of my posts
-
So what I have to do now is:
switch to a theme that does have footer widgets and install an empty text widget into any footer area for widgets.2 questions:
what theme does have footer wirdgets?
how can I install an empty text widget into any footer area? -
many themes have footer widgets – try Twenty Eleven
the same way you install any widget > Apppearance > Widgets
locate a text widget and drag it into any footer area
click the widget to open
click “save”
click “close”
then go back to my post where I have provided instructions in 3 (a,b,c) -
-
What is this thing of “text widget” I go to widgets and there are a lot of options to drag but I can not find “text widget”. I can only see “text” is it the same?
I am using now Splendio theme
-
Why is it so difficult to manage the blog? and besides, only you is helping me. No support from WordPress staff
-
Yes “text” is the text widget. Please post a link to the exact blog in quetion starting with http:// and I will flag this thread for Staff attention.
-
I think I did it. Even for that is difficult. However, thank you very much ‘timethief’. Now I am still fighting with these theme things because I am really happy writing every day, and I enjoy a lot, and I have see so many visits, but I want all of then to see all of my posts. Hope this help request helps. Bye bye!

Please note that blog is not wearing the Splendio theme like you siad here > https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/i-cant-see-all-of-my-posts?replies=27#post-893883
It’s wearing the Oxygen theme. Also note this thread has been flagged for Staff attention as I said above and they will get to this thread when they can. -
I changed the theme again, as I did not like Splendio and I don’t want to keep changing my theme every time I have a problem. My viewers will not like that.

Hi juanfelipemunozvieira,
Apologies for the delay in responding, and for the frustration that you experienced. I see that you are now using Triton Lite. If there is anything else we can help you with, please let us know.
-
Hi michiecat. Thanks for your reply. I tought you forgot to do it. However, I have this Triton Lite theme because I have not had any problem with it and I can see the whole posts as it organizes them in different pages. But I would love to use the following:
Oxygen: I would like to see only 10 posts per page but it does not allow me
Twenty Eleven and Twenty Ten: WOULD Love to see 10 posts per page and a summary of each post but it does not allow me
Skeptical: I would like to see the summary for each post, but it does not allow me.Could you please help me to solve this? Thanks!
-
Oxygen, 2010 and 2011 don’t allow you at first, because WP has added infinite scrolling to these themes, and WP doesn’t want you to disable it, so they hide the relevant options – except if you add footer widgets. As timethief has already told you, after you drag a text widget to one of the footer areas you’ll be able to disable infinite scrolling and set the number of posts per page you prefer (both in Settings > Reading).
-
-
Timethief has already explained that: you go to Appearance > Widgets, open one of the Footer widget areas, drag a “Text” widget into it.
-
I dragged “Text” to Footer, but then it opens a small window in which tells me to write a Title and a big white space to write. Then it gives me the option to Automatically add paragrahops, delete, close or save. What is it?
-
Nothing: you just add the thing, without typing anything. Its only purpose is to make the themes think you’ve got footer widgets and make the options in Settings > Reading visible again.
-
Ok, it worked but not really good. I changed my theme again to Oxygen, and now it shows me just 10 posts and then gives me the option to see more posts. But it changes the position of the main photo (of each post) and is not showing the whole posts. I have 32 posts so far, could you please check if you can see them all by cliking (see more posts) and check if you see them in the same vertical position?
-
You forgot why all this: next you go to Settings > Reading, uncheck the option “Scroll Infinitely”, change the number of posts per page, if necessary, click Save Changes. Once you do that, you won’t see the “Load More Posts” tab, you’ll see a series of numbers for your post pages.
The images are all perfectly aligned. But some of your images have a white background, and this doesn’t look ok against the white bg of the theme. You can go to Appearance > Background and set a light bg color.

Thanks a lot justpi! finally I could solve this problem. It was so complicated for me. Thank you so much!
