I can’t see my site and my recently bought domain name
-
Hello, I am not able to see my website and my domain after restoring my account.
I can see the recent payments for both the website and the domain (Jan, and Mar 2026), but I cannot find the domain and the website anywhere.
This is very urgent because my website is vital for my business.
What can I do to get my website and domain back?
Thanks -
Hello there, are you referring to this other forum thread that you posted in? https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/request-51/
Are you the client that is having the issue?
The domain https://kesmeth.com/ is currently parked at GoDaddy.

The domain Registrar is Wild West Domains/WordPress.com but the domain nameservers are pointed to Domain Control/GoDaddy.

I can not understand how is that possible??
I paid it to you (wordpress.com).
who’s responsible for that mistake!
and how can I get it back?

What did you pay for here? Just the domain name? Where did your site used to be hosted? If it wasn’t here but was formerly at GoDaddy and you let it expire over a year ago (so the contents of the site will be gone for good) then were you planning to start afresh here at WordPress.com?
-
I should have looked at the link provided by @2020testjj. You bought the domain here but your site was at GoDaddy. Have you continued paying them? You should be reaching out to them to see if your site is recoverable.

I had a website here on WordPress.com and I also renewed the domain on WordPress.com in March. I also paid the annual subscription fee for the website, 300 euros in January 2026.
Both transactions are displayed under the billing history of my account.
Currently, I don’t have access to either of them. I am also trying to contact a real person from WordPress.com support, and I am not able to do it.
The first registration of the domain was back in 2011, and I have been paying every year since then. I am sorry, but I can’t accept that my domain magically disappeared, and I don’t have access to it.
I already contacted GoDaddy, and they told me that WordPress.com holds the domain. -
More details concerning the history of your site and its whereabouts would help.
In this thread (presumably concerning you) someone says:- https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/request-51/
We need at least wordpress.com to release the domain in order to be used from his godady account.
