I can't see the fields to change site URL under settings–>general
-
Hi!
I just can’t figure out how to link my wordpress site to my Dreamhost domain http://www.brekick.no. The domain is fully hosted. I found lots of pages explaining that I should go to my admin page in WP and go to settings and general, where i should see two fields where I can change the URL. But I cant see these fields…
I integrated another page before with Dreamhost about one year ago but can’t remember how I did it. Please help. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Wait. “The domain is fully hosted.” Do you mean you paid for hosting at Dreamhost and you now want to give that up and point the URL at your WordPress.com blog?

Yes, I’ve paid for hosting at Dreamhost, but I don’t want to give that up. I want to keep the domain at Dreamhost and link it to a page designed using wordpress. In the Dreamhost panel it says that my page http://www.brekick.no is fully hosted and there is a button that says “visit”. I have installed wordpress using the one click installation, but when I click “visit” the page doesn’t exist. So I guess I have to integrate them some how, but I can’t figure out how.

Okay, then what you have is a WordPress.ORG blog and you need to be at WordPress.ORG for help with that version of the software.
We can help you with http://brekick.wordpress.com/ because that is a WordPress.com blog, but we cannot help you with dreamhost blogs. If you want to take the contents of http://brekick.wordpress.com/ and move it to your dreamhost blog, that’s easy. Either do it yourself or pay for the Guided Transfer:
