I can’t seem to access my account

  I receive updates from WP that plugins have been updated on several different sites – However, when I go to login (or in this case ask for a password reset) none of the emails I own are registered with WP. Including the email that is receiving the generic updates – how do I fix this ?

  I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

  Hi! Could you send a link to the site you’re trying to access?

  If the sites are hosted here on our servers this may help:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/

  You may also be able to log out and log back in with the email address that gets notifications and whatnot.

  Or, for your own copy of WordPress with a different host, be sure you’re logging in with /wp-admin, as the login there will be different from anything on our services. If that isn’t working, ask your host for help with this:
