I can't seem to add my actual Facebook account (https://www.facebook.com/ChristopherSaint13)

  I want to share my post to my Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/ChristopherSaint13), however all my sharing continues to do is re-share it on this blog site. Please help!

  Hi @christophersaint13 – I want to clarify if you are trying to share your blog posts to your Facebook profile or a Facebook page? The two are different.

  You can use Publicize to easily share your blog posts to your Facebook profile.

  Login to your Facebook profile and locate the drop down arrow in the upper right corner of your screen. When you click the arrow a drop down menu will appear, select ‘settings’.

  On the next page, on the left side bar there will be a menu, select ‘Apps’. The next screen will have a search box towards the top, type ‘WordPress’ into that search box. Then you will be able to connect your Facebook profile to your WordPress.com blog.

  Publicize does not work retroactively, and you won’t be able to use the tool to share posts that were published prior to getting Publicize set up.

  Once Facebook and WordPress are connected log out and back into both Facebook and your WordPress.com accounts.

  Create a new post. From the Edit Post Screen find ‘Sharing’ on the left. When you click ‘Sharing’ you should see your Facebook profile listed. To share this post to Facebook be sure to check the box next to your Facebook profile. You can toggle the sharing on and off as desired for each post.
