I can't seem to create a Gallery with my Twenty-eleven blog theme

  Hi, I blog with the Twenty-eleven theme and I’m trying to create a Gallery post. But when I click the Gallery option on the list of formats, nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong? I thought Twenty-eleven supported Gallery posts (does it?) but maybe I need to switch to a different theme.

  Post formats generally change the appearance of a post only on the home/front page of your site, so if you are looking at the single post view, you won’t see it. Have a look at the demo site and you’ll see what I mean. http://twentyelevendemo.wordpress.com/

  Can you link to one of your posts where you’ve used the Gallery post format so we can take a look?

  Hi justjennifer. Thanks for your reply. I realized that I needed to select “Create Gallery” after I clicked the “Add Media” button, rather than uploading my photos into the text editor and then clicking “Gallery” on the list of post formats. So it’s all sorted now. :-)
